Dynamic Producer 2009

Dynamic Producer is an organization that I'm a member of that supports up & coming producers through education and opportunity. They have annual conferences in LA and New york City that are full of networking workshops and industry panel discussions.

I was able to attend their winter seminar this year, it was my first DP event. And all I can say is if your a songwriter, producer or artist you need to be down with this organization. I met some of the most down to earth, humble and down right musically tightest producers while I was there. I made a lot of industry contacts, even had listening sessions with major players in the industry.

But what blew me away was the beat battles, this is like the movie 8 mile you better lose your self in the music. In the beat battles producers play their best beats going head to head untill there is only one.

If your A game is'nt tight this will let you know right away. It's like in the winter you will know how good your car is if it starts or not. Getting your butt smashed in a beat will let you know that you got step beat game up. This is fun and no one leaves with hard feeling only the hunger to be better.

So if you want to step your business of music up and would like to have your music submitted to music industry A&R's then this organization is for you.
